The AHRQ Annual Practice-based Research Network (PBRN) Research Meeting is the premier platform to network with Primary Care PBRNs from around the country, share successes and failures, discover exceptional practices and learn from your colleagues. Opportunities available at this meeting are:

Registration and Housing

Meeting Registration: This meeting begins at 1 PM EST on Wednesday, May 16 and ends at 2:30 PM EST on Friday, May 18, 2007. An hors d'oeuvres reception will be held prior to the keynote speech on Wednesday evening. Several networking opportunities have been scheduled during this meeting including two sit-down networking lunches. See "2007 Meeting Agenda" for more information about the meeting agenda. This meeting is being held at the Pooks Hill Marriott in Bethesda, Maryland. The room block for this hotel is full. Rooms may still be available at the normal hotel rate ($319 or $329).

Important Happenings

Lunch with the Experts – Take the opportunity to have lunch with a Resource Center Expert. This unstructured discussion will offer an opportunity for nine individuals to converse with one of four experts: William Tierney, John Hickner, Dan Gaylin, and Atif Zafar/Abel Kho. These luncheon opportunities are first come first serve and will be available on both Thursday and Friday of the meeting.

Special Interest Groups – Take advantage of the opportunity to congregate and develop working relationships with other PBRNs interested in topics of interest to you and your network. These groups will informally discuss the successes as well as the challenges of working in these areas.

These special interest groups will be held on Thursday, May 17 from 5:30-6:30 PM EST. Please feel free to contact the group leaders with any questions, potential topics, or concerns.
